Death of a Salesman
ORIGINAL SCORE
~20 movements of underscore, written in a “jazz noir” setting. Rich and nostalgic, tinged with sorrow/regret. The score is written for solo piano and flute, the flute only entering in reference to the character of Ben or Willy’s father.

ORCHESTRATION & ARRANGEMENT
A small cast adaptation requested by Sight & Sound for licensing worldwide, consisting of 41 movements scored for pit orchestra. Project included creation and arrangement of all underscore movements, and the creation of a piano/vocal score.
The Hill: A Return to Spoon River
ORIGINAL SCORE
A rich, Appalachian score, built around “The Hill”: an original setting of Edgar Lee Master’s opening poem from the Spoon River Anthology. Instrumentation includes a variety of folk instruments: banjo, guitar, tin whistle, hammer dulcimer, and fiddle, as well as organ, piano, and light use of synth and percussion.
LANDMARK TOWN
ORCHESTRATION
A full orchestration of Carrie Cunningham and Hal O’Dell’s new Christmas Cantata, “Landmark Town.” While certain pieces vary in scope, the overall mood is orchestral with folk/acoustic coloring throughout (i.e., finger style guitar, harmonica, gospel piano, etc.).

An original score for a modern adaptation by Kyle Schnack. With strong cinematic and hip-hop undertones, the score relies heavily on percussion and synth elements.
